Megan Kaplan
Co-Creator
Megan’s athletic journey began with volleyball and cross-country running in middle school. She went on to compete with a cheer squad for five seasons before becoming a two-time Florida State qualifier in both Weightlifting and Wrestling during her Junior and Senior years of high school, graduating with honors.
Today, Megan is an accomplished Commercial Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), and Multi-Engine Instructor — bringing the same discipline and excellence from athletics into aviation.
“Whatever we did, we always had a cooler full of food and snacks at these events. My brother and I wanted to create something better — a cooler that actually represented the sport we were competing in.”

From a young age, Matthew recognized a gap in the sports market — no coolers reflected the shape of the ball or object athletes used, and nothing carried personal or team identity beyond handmade creations.
He competed in baseball, lacrosse, and football before finding his true passion at Lake Highland Prep in Orlando, Florida. As a wrestler, he became a three-time state qualifier, two-time All-American, and the 220-pound two-time Florida State Champion (2019 & 2020).
His dedication earned him graduation from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2025, two Congressional nominations and a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies. He now serves on Active Duty as a Lieutenant and Pilot of Remote Piloted Aircraft, continuing his legal education while developing the Kickin’ Koolers brand.
